About Us

Mtoto Kwanza Fund

At World Vision Tanzania, we are committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of children and communities across the country.

The Mtoto Kwanza Fund is our local resource development initiative, designed to drive positive change by raising and investing resources that directly impact the well-being of children, especially the most vulnerable.

Our goal is to support programs and projects that empower children, families, and entire communities, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive.

We believe in the power of collaboration, and through this fund, we seek to engage a wide range of partners, including World Vision employees, former beneficiaries, well-wishers, government entities, faith-based communities, and corporate partners.

Together, we can create sustainable solutions that transform lives and promote long-term development.

The Mtoto Kwanza Fund serves all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender.

We are united in our mission to uplift communities and ensure that no child is left behind.

Our initiatives are designed to address pressing issues such as education, healthcare, child protection, and economic empowerment, with a special focus on the most marginalized and at-risk children.

We are deeply grateful for the support of our partners and donors who enable us to continue our work. Through their generosity and commitment, we are building a brighter future for the children of Tanzania.

From our start in Tanzania in 1981, we have grown to be one of the largest humanitarian and development organisations in the country, working in 14 out of 33 regions across 41 districts.

We seek to contribute to the measurable improvement in the sustained well-being of 15 million girls and boys – especially the most vulnerable.
